Physics student at Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM), Peru, ranked 2nd in his class (Segundo Puesto de la Base) with excellent academic performance (weighted average of 14.283/20 vs. historical average of 13.00, without any failures).

Active researcher at the Computational Methods Applied to Nanomaterials Group (GMCAN - UNMSM), specializing in Computational Condensed Matter Physics and Theoretical Physics of 2D Materials. Experienced in advanced first-principles Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations using VASP and Siesta, focusing on the transition-metal doping of chromium trichloride ($\text{CrCl}_3$) monolayers and magnetic anisotropy in collaboration with Federal University of ABC (UFABC), Brazil. Currently developing his Bachelor’s thesis on PHOTH-graphene electronic topology, symmetry breaking, mechanical properties, and catalytic efficiency (HER) using PBE and HSE06 functionals.

Solid theoretical background in quantum tunneling and electronic transport in 1D semiconductor heterostructures. Performed a research and study exchange at the SΓ£o Carlos Institute of Physics, University of SΓ£o Paulo (IFSC-USP). Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese (certified Celpe-Bras), advanced English and Italian (B2), and basic Russian (A2).
